Hi, I’m ThisMechaniCan. I live in country South Australia with my wife, “The Wife”, daughter “H10″ and son “C7″

This blog is a record of our geocaching adventures. The Wife  read about geocaching on someone elses blog a couple of years ago and thought it would be a great way to get fit at our leisure. We joined www.geocaching.com on June 18, 2007 and found our first cache “Piggy in the Middle” on June 24, 2007. We found our 100th cache “Whyalla Wetlands“, on 8 June, 2008. We hid our first cache “Rock and Hole” on 3 February, 2008.

You can click on the link “MY RECENT RAMBLINGS”, in the left column to read all about our recent (mis)adventures.

And now, with the marvels of modern technology, you can subscribe to ThisMechaniCan. All you need to do is click on the “Subscribe” link just over there in the left column. When you subscribe (it won’t cost you a penny), you’ll receive an email everytime I update this blog. Cool, huh?

This picture of a sunset was taken through the car window travelling at 75kph (the Wife was driving), on the way back from one of our many caching trips to the east coast of EP.  We travel many kilometres to have the chance to find, or in some cases, not find, new caches and by the time we head for home it is usually very late in the day.

Thanks for reading and DON’T FORGET to LEAVE A COMMENT. (I would like to know what you think!)
